One of the things that I enjoy as a writer are the invitations to media nights. It allows me the opportunity to visit a wonderful business and to find out what that business has to offer. Asali Desserts & Café offers Valentine’s Day delights. It is also the kind of place that you can visit anytime throughout the year.
They offer delectable desserts and an array of coffee and tea for all to enjoy. There is a little something for everyone, depending on your tastes. They are located in Cary, NC.
This kind of café is excellent for all ages. Feel like catching up with your best friend? Upon walking in, you are greeted with a smile from a great staff.
I loved the décor and the variety of desserts, coffee, and tea. Luckily, I was grateful to taste the February dessert additions. If you are looking to treat yourself or a loved one, make plans to be there.
Asali Desserts & Cafe Valentine’s Day Treats
First, there was The Eternal Love Dome that consisted of: a ruby mousse with a lemon streusel cookie base with a vanilla genoise cake (sponge cake texture) and a raspberry surprise center. I loved that it was not overly sweet, and it was light.
Next, I tried The Perfect Pair: a chocolate heart with a strawberry basil cream and a chocolate heart with a caramel brownie. It is available as a Pre-Order only and must be picked up on February 14th through the 16th.
Finally, the third dessert was a favorite for me, and that was Bee Mine. It included a vanilla cake with caramelized peaches, whipped cream and a drizzle of honey.
I had the pleasure of having these tasty treats with the most beautiful latte. It was a Cardamom Rose Latte. They added an extra special touch with a dusting of iridescent powder inside of the rim. I was sold on that alone even before I tasted it.
Asali Desserts & Cafe is a place that you can enjoy alone or with others. I can see myself going there with my family or a close friend. That is one of the things that I enjoy doing that makes me spend quality time with people.
