Every spring you can bet that any woman and her girlfriends will make a mad dash to the NC State Fairgrounds. I had the pleasure of attending the Southern Women’s Show Blogger Preview Night and got a sneak peek on all the excitement. This year the event takes place from April 12th through April 14th.
The event has a little bit of everything for everybody. From beauty, fashion, home decor, health, food and more. Each year you can expect to see celebrities too. Food Lion will be featuring local chefs on their stage this year.
Chef Monica did a great job demonstrating her Mediterranean flatbread. I appreciated knowing that I could get the same ingredients at my local Food Lion. I will definitely have to try that recipe myself.
In the past, I have attended and enjoyed seeing all the wonderful culinary dishes. They make cooking look easy for the everyday woman. Throw in some coupons and you have a win.
You have no excuse to not go grocery shopping after seeing it live. Plus, you have an incentive to impress your family and friends. Why not try and win their stomachs too?
All kinds of vendors will be showcasing their products. You will find ideas for your home, for your health and an array of pampering opportunities. Don’t forget to test drive with Chevrolet again this year.
Did I mention they have the “Handsome Hometown Heros Firefighter Fashion Show” on Friday evening at 6pm? It’s all for a good cause too. It will help benefit the Firefighters Burned Children Fund of Wake County.
I also learned of the Pass It On Thrift Store with Interact. They have some lovely pieces. Take a minute to find out how they are helping the community.
One thing that I have enjoyed is going with a good friend to this event. It is a girls day out and you have such a great time. Everyone that is part of putting this together ensures that it is a success.
If you have not attended this event I highly recommend it. I am grateful for attending the Southern Women’s Blogger Preview Night. I love my swag bag! I even had a chance to pick out a charm by Kendra Scott North Hills.
