Some special things are taking place at City Kitchen. This restaurant is in Chapel Hill, NC, within the University Mall. If you are looking into trying something new, then this is the place to be.
I had the pleasure of trying out some tasty dishes and some beautiful cocktails too. Jeremiah Ramos, General Manager of City Kitchen Chapel Hill, explained the story behind the cocktails. One, in particular, was reminiscent of a popular character in a well-known children’s movie.
Here are my top three favorites:
BLACK ROSE-Bedlam Vodka, Lime, Blackberry Puree, Sage-Infused Syrup
APRIL IN PARIS-Mother Earth Gin, St. Germain, Lemon, Lavender Honey-Infused Syrup
(These were tied as far as being my number one choice.)
THE VIOLET BEAUREGARDE-Prosecco, Chambord, Blueberries
These were all part of their signature cocktails. City Kitchen is also known for its brunch. I have dined there for dinner, so taking part in this influencer event was a treat.
Beautiful Opportunity for an event
I found out that they also have event space in the Glass Room on the second floor. Anytime I had been there in the past, I wondered if that space was available for use.
It can accommodate approximately sixty people or so. There are plenty of tables, a bar, and additional restrooms. That, to me, seems very convenient, especially when considering having a workshop or celebrating a special occasion.
A few things to look forward to are their weekly events. They will offer Paint Nite, Sunday Reggae Brunch with music, Wine Down Wednesdays, and Friday Night Flights from local breweries.
You can bet some special things are taking place at City Kitchen. Right on time with the spring weather too.
